An
opinion:
It’s
a great time to be alive
and be a Mac user!
Former
Mayor of Lynchburg, the late Jimmy Bryan used to say,
“It's a great time to be
alive and live in Lynchburg, Virginia.”
Jimmy
is no longer with us, but anyone who ever had contact with
him
can well remember how he revitalized our community with
his positive message.
For
those of us who have long been Mac users and stalwarts in
the battle
for acceptance in the personal computer arena, you have
to believe that once
again, we are on the threshold of recognition by not only
the experts and the famous,
but also the business community in finally seeing what we've
long known
that the Apple Way is the right way for personal computer
systems,
hardware and ease of use and it is truly “a
great time to be a Mac user.”
Recently,
there are a growing number of converts of media writers
who
have begun to jump on the Mac bandwagon as never before
who either
finally seen the light that ours is the right way or are
willing to admit that
they have been using Macs for years to get their jobs done
and now want
to swim upstream against status quo, computer mainstreamists
or
business dullards to make their jobs easier, have more fun
using their
computers, improve their productivity and produce better
results.
Here
are the latest opinions in a growing stream of support for
a way of life many of us have embraced for years.
